Lobster Pots & Lemontops 12 Jul Written By Katherine Lynas Working with writer Carmen Marcus, we created a programme of activity to support Kirkleatham Museum’s Lobster Pots & Lemontops exhibition. We delivered a fun filled education day for Coatham School, as well as a family day for the public. The children experimented with boat making, testing them and seeing who could hold the heaviest weight. They designed their own seaside outfits, learnt how to tie a variety of knots, designed an arcade, learnt about fishing the seasons, fishing traditions and created wish fish. “What an amazing day we had yesterday! The children were so engaged with all the activities and it was fabulous to do it amongst the displays. Thank you all for your hard work and preparation.Would love to work with you all again soon.” — Classroom Teacher, Coatham School Katherine Lynas
